Honey Words is a children's book you can have in your iPad.
What makes Honey Words special?
Parents and caregivers just need to tell the story once. Honey Words will take care of the rest. The application will record their voices while they read the story, the story will be then replayed as the kid or kids swipe on the iPad screen.
Why bees?
Honey Words' story is inspired by the current situation of the Honey Bee. More than one third of the Honey Bee population have disappeared, this phenomena is called Colony Collapse Disorder. This imbalance in the ecosystem is due to a combination of pesticide exposure, invasive parasitic mites, an inadequate food supply due to mono crops. The consequences of this collapse are dangerous for the ecosystem and humans alike. Honey Bees play a very important role in human's food chain, a great variety of fruits and vegetable depend on the Honey Bee to pollinate them.
